2020 Toyota RAV4 comes as a continuation of the well-known and popular line of the crossovers that usually includes good equipment and strong but economical engines. Vehicles like this are great for daily city driving, but also for driving on rough terrain and even for some heavy load in case that is needed. This time it comes as slightly redesigned, as Toyota always do with their models every year.
According to all we know so far, 2020 Toyota RAV4 should come as slightly redesigned in order to be more aerodynamic and modernly shaped. The manufacturer also announced usage of lightweight materials and maybe better-distributed load in order to provide more economical driving. However, there should not be many changes in the design of the car. The front end is massive and chubby, with recognizable grille and large LED lights. The rear end is rounded and modernly designed, with few curved lines and spoiler on the rear window. The car should get a dark protection on the bottom, too.
The cabin in 2020 Toyota RAV4 should not be much changed from the last model, but we know that Toyota usually changes and improves their models in every new model. The best thing is that standard model gets much more than previous models, including Multimedia and Entune radio, a navigation system, backup camera and air conditioning. The cabin is much more ergonomic, practical and comfortable.
It became common that crossovers in this class get the same 2.5-liter engine. It is the case with Honda CR-V and Nissan Rogue, which got a V6 version of it, as same as 2020 Toyota RAV4, but in different combination and fuel type. This RAV4 should have a diesel version in the base model, which becomes a hybrid one in combination with the electric motor. It is not known yet which exact type of the petrol engine will be found under the hood for sure, but this diesel one has the strength of even 172 that grows to 205 horsepower of strength. It should be paired with the six-speed automatic transmission, usual for this size of the crossovers.
2020 Toyota RAV4 Release Date and Price
With all additions and novelties, it is expected that the 2020 Toyota RAV4 should be slightly more expensive as before, with the price of $26,500 for the base model. However, the new model should be on the market at the end of the year or at beginning of the next one. Even with the change in the price, this car is among the most attractive and favorable models in class.
