Revealing of 2019 Toyota Harrier has been highly expected occasion since the fans were able to see a prototype of the car on Toyota Auto Show in 2017. Not only that they showed new hybrid version of the engine, but they also announced changes in size and design of the car, with improved equipment in the cabin. Now, the car is here, and we are thrilled to see what they changed and renovated in this model so far.

2019 Toyota Harrier comes as a slightly smaller car than before. That means that it is shorter and smaller for less than inch, but that is the needed change in order to represent this car as an attractive sporty crossover. The front end is recognizably sporty and massive, and could easily be a front end of some sporty supercar, with a wide mesh grille and thin narrowed lights. The rear end is also not that usual for crossovers, and even it is rounded and soft, has curved edges and wide metallic protection on the bottom. The rear window is protected by the wide spoiler.

The cabin in 2019 Toyota Harrier is wide and comfortable, even though the car is slightly smaller than before. There is a very spacious rear row with a lot of space for the passenger in the front row, too. The cabin is capable of carrying five adult persons without creasing. Not only that the seats are a comfort but they are able to adjust in eight ways controlled by a button. Besides that, the cabin is very attractive and has futuristic devices, like JBL audio system, upgraded navigation, dual-zone climate control, phone connectivity and 11 speakers spread on doors and behind the rear row.

2019 Toyota Harrier has an acceptably strong 2.5-liter petrol engine that produces when it is alone 152 horsepower, but in combination with two electric engines, it produces even 197 horsepower of strength. The engine is matched with the six-speed automatic transmission, but also with optional eight-speed automatic one in higher speed. Some rumors claim that we should expect CVT transmission as well in some trims. Whatever it is, the car is offered as front and all-wheel driving model. In term of safety come rearview camera, driver assists features, automatic braking system, and adaptive cruise control.

2019 Toyota Harrier Release Date and Price

2019 Toyota Harrier is still not on the market, but that will happen very soon. The base price of the model should be around $45,000 but expect much more in higher trims, so we expect that the price is maybe the most competitive in this class. Competitors are all hybrid crossovers like Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, Toyota Highlander Hybrid, Acura MDX Hybrid, Kia Niro Hybrid, and Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.
