Finding specification and description (as well as photos) of 2019 Nissan Maxima was not easy since the manufacturer has not clearly shown anything about that yet. As we know that major change was undergone 2016 model, we are sure that this version is only mid-cycle update and nothing more, so many things remain the same this time. We were only being able to see protected and covered version on test driving, but the only we saw are few changes in height and design of the front fascia.
As we said, there are no expected changes in 2019 Nissan Maxima from the last model, and as we saw on spy photos, the main change is in front end and shape of the lights. There is sharper and lower front fascia with redesigned and modernized LED lights. The rear end is sedan-like flat with a thin spoiler on the top of the truck door and also modernized rear lights. it is visibly lowered car and looks like new Altima.
There is no much change in the cabin of 2019 Nissan Maxima in terms of design and look of the cabin, but the manufacturer will offer Apple Car Play (or Android Auto) in the base model. There is also a navigation and remote start system, which were standard in the previous model, too. We expect the same wide cabin with quality leather on the seats and wide and functional dashboard, with no many details or differences from the last year model.
There should be the same V6 engine under the hood of 2019 Nissan Maxima that produces 300 horsepower of strength. There is a huge change in trims offered with this version, including automatic brakes that come this time as a standard, while on previous models was possible to order only in higher trims. However, there is a long list of novelties that offers high trims now, like black spoilers, surround view camera and 19-inch wheels is special Midnight Edition.
2019 Nissan Maxima Release date and Price
When it comes to the 2019 Nissan Maxima, the manufacturer has not shared the price and clear releasing date. We expect that could be in the second half of the year while the price should not be much different from the price that current model has and that is around $35,000. Future buyers will save money the most if they choose a mid-size trim version, while the significant savings comes if Midnight Edition is chosen. Main competitors are Ford Taurus, Chevrolet Impala, and Toyota Avalon.
