The year 2019 will bring another completely redesigned sedan to the market. It will be the new 2019 Hyundai Elantra that has shown some recent updates, but it is still coming now as a next-generation model. It will undergo some serious changes and improvement in terms of overall design, but also under the hood.

The 2019 Hyundai Elanta is going to hit the market as a small sedan that will show some significant updates and improvements in terms of exterior. The only thing that probably will not change is its dimensions. When it comes to exterior design, the new Elantra will abandon the previous curvy and rounded body of its predecessor and get more aggressive appearance with sharper lines. This car will also improve its aerodynamics significantly which will add up to its acceleration, efficiency and overall performance. The new look can especially be noticed in the front fascia of this model. It will get a new grille and a new set of headlights with LED daytime running lamps. The front bumper will also be redesigned. This sedan will probably stand on 17-inch alloy wheels as standard.

There is a lack of information when it comes to interior of the 2019 Hyundai Elantra. However, being the next-generation sedan, this model should provide more modern and improved cabin than the current model. It will also provide better isolation and quieter cabin, so the outside noise and vibrations will be reduced. Its sleek and stylish new design will include comfortable leather seats and some other high-quality materials inside. Hyundai will largely improve its technology as well. The driver will probably get an 8.0-inch touch-screen display with the latest infotainment and entertainment system. It will provide the next-generation features such as navigation system, premium audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Safety systems and driver assist features such as autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a rearview camera and blind-spot monitoring will be included, too.

The engine that the 2019 Hyundai Elantra will offer under its hood has still been a mysery, but there will definitely be more than one option available. The first information that our team has got includes three versions that this model will offer – GDI (gas), CRDI (turbo-diesel) and Turbo GDI with a 1.6-liter engine that is expected to deliver 183 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The engine of this sedan should be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Other possible choices include a 1.8-liter and 2.0-liter engines, but we expect more information soon.
