According to the information our team has got, the well-known Dodge brand is going to release its redesigned version of the 2019 Dodge Avenger model soon. Being known for sports cars with excellent performances, this brand will now actually be more family-oriented, making an everyday family sedan. The new Avenger will undergo some minor changes and updates.

As we have already mentioned, the 2019 Dodge Avenger is going to make its appearance as a mid-size family sedan. The fans have been waiting for this new update since 2013, when the Dodge was last time redesigned. However, they should not be expecting anything revolutionary with this 2019 model. Its size and general dimensions will remain mostly the same as the ones of its predecessor. The wheelbase could perhaps come as wider which provides more space inside the cabin. When it comes to exterior features, most of this redesign will happen around the front fascia where you will first notice its trapezoidal mesh grille that has been separated in four parts. The front bumper with a wide air intake in it will give this model sportier appearance. The headlight will be thin and sharper. They, as well as the fog lights, will be using the latest LED technology. In the back part of the vehicle, you will find that the LED taillights and the rear spoiler have also undergone some rework. The new Avenger should be standing on larger wheels and tires, probably 18-inch.

When it comes to interior of the 2019 Dodge Avenger, we must say that you should not be expecting anything significant to happen in here either. Instead of improving its interior styling and updating most of the features as it has been the case with the next-generation sedans, the new Avenger will mostly pay attention to comfort, providing a cozy and functional cabin for you and your family. The cabin is also expected to be quieter with less outside noise and vibrations. The seats will remain a bit sporty, but they will be comfortable and covered in fine leather, at least in higher trims. The center console will provide a 7.0-inch touch-screen display with media center and lots of modern features such as navigation, satellite radio, audio control, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, USB ports and voice controls. Some of the safety systems and driver assist features that the new Avenger will include are adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, anti-lock braking system, airbags and electronic traction and stability control.

The information about the engine that the 2019 Dodge Avenger will hide under its hood has not been confirmed, but the most possible version is expected to come with a 2.4-liter V6 engine that should deliver up to 276 horsepower. Higher trims could possibly get a 3.6-liter V6, but we expect more information about this soon. It will offer either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

2019 Dodge Avenger Release Date and Price

The 2019 Dodge Avenger should be expected in the market in late 2018, probably in fall. The estimated price of a base model starts around $21,000.
