2019 Acura MDX is represented as a new model that manufacturer made to continue the series of the car, significantly changed in 2017 and then slightly redesigned for 2018. That is the reason why we should not expect many changes in this model, as well as the same features and engine under the hood. The only change could be in terms of technology in the cabin and two new infotainment screens on the dashboard, but besides that, there are no other changes. Being a well-sold model, new MDX should be as much attractive for buyers as before.
2019 Acura MDX has almost the same details, design and shape as the current model, with only a few and slight changes, mostly on the front end and on rear lights. Those differences are there only to separate this model from the last year one and could confuse buyers in future shopping. However, there is attractive trapezoidal mesh grille, framed with chrome and thin LED lights on the sides. Below them are squared fog lights and air intake. The rear end is also the same as on the current model, with thin rear lights.
The cabin has only a few improvements from the last model, where the most visible are two infotainment screens on center cluster, which are not only upgraded and redesigned but also much better response. However, the dashboard has the same layout and equipment, together with luxury details on the steering wheel and doors. There is brown, old-fashioned thick leather on the seats in higher trims and quality dark plastic in combination with chrome on the dashboard. There is also enough space for taller passengers and perfectly comfortable second row.
As for the rest of the car, the same applies to the engine in 2019 Acura MDX. It is literally the same as on the current model, meaning 3.5-liter V6 with 250 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. It also gets the nine-speed automatic transmission and it is able to be driven on front wheels, with an optional all-wheel driving system which buyers could get on demand. Finally, there is the same list of safety features, as on other models made in this factory, called Top Safety Pick+.
2019 Acura MDX
Although the manufacturer has not said how much will cost 2019 Acura MDX, it is not hard to predict that the price will not be higher than before, according to equipment and engine strength. In that case, it will cost around $45,000 for base model while the higher trim could go up to $60,000. Main competitors of the model are BMW X3, Audi Q3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class.
