The new Honda Odyssey for 2017 model year is now come with ,hold on, eight trim levels which is just awesome. A lot of people thought that the guys from Honda will do that long waited redesign in this year Odyssey but obviously they are still finishing up the new model, which will come in late 2016 as a 2017 model or will it come out as a 2018 halfway trough the 2017 year we’ll have to see what they will do there. But until that moment we have the new updated 2017 model to look on so keep with us.
2017 Honda Odyssey Exterior
We just need to start with a key fob which has a smart key entry system coupled with the automatic side door opener, which means if you push one button on the key fob one or both side doors will open automatically. So when we talk about the exterior they didn’t do much to change it so it is basically the 2015 model when you look it from the outside with some added LED taillights and new wheel designs.
2017 Honda Odyssey Interior
The exterior didn’t change much but than is not the case with the interior. They added a bunch of new tech, comfort and safety features. New safety features are: forward collision alert, blind spot alert and lane departure warning. When we talk about the new tech one of the novelties is the Honda vacuum which can reach in the whole interior. You’ll also get a 12 speaker 5.1 surround system, wide screen rear seat infotainment system, HDMI input,8-inch touchscreen, back up camera, navigation, three-zone climate control a lot of storage space, cup holders and much much more.
2017 Honda Odyssey Engine
This front-engine, 5-door, 8-passenger wagon is equipped with a 3.5-Liter V-6 which is capable to put out 248 horsepower at 5700 rpm and 250 pound feet of torque at 4800 rpm. This engines power is transferred trough a 6-speed automatic transmission and trough front wheel drive on the road. EPA fuel consumption numbers are 19 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. It accelerates from 0 to 60 in very good for a minivan 7.7 seconds while the top speed is also very good 120 miles per hour.
2017 Honda Odyssey Price
The new Honda Odyssey for 2017 model year is ranked second in the minivan segment. The price of this car is starting at $30,175 which can go up to $45,650. Major competitors are: Toyota Sienna, Kia Sedona, Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan, Nissan Quest and Mazda Mazda 5.
