2019 Nissan Leaf is the only electric car that Nissan produces and one of two hatchbacks made in this factory, besides the Nissan Versa. As the last year model is fully redesigned last year, there are no many changes that the manufacturer made there, so this is the same futuristic and modern car with many attractive details.
Speaking of the attractive details, there are such things as amazingly wide and futuristic front end with flat wide grille and very thin LED front lights on the sides. The air intake on the bottom is made in shape of the letter W so it covers the whole front end. The rear end is also different from other cars and contains thin modern rear lights and also the flat bottom of the bumper. The car is egg-like but with many lines and curves on the sides and doors.
The cabin in 2019 Nissan Leaf is not photographed yet, so we cannot describe its design and look, but there are very interesting devices and high luxury equipment in there, as we used to see in electric cars. As first thing come 5-inch and a 7-inch touchscreen that stands in the middle of the dashboard and it represents a place for all buttons and controls at one place. There is also very interesting resolution instead of braking as one e-Pedal which replaces usual two or three pedals in the cabin. Future drivers will not break, they will release the e-Pedal and the car will slow down.
2019 Nissan Leaf is fully electric car with 40 kW battery that produces 147 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque and able to drive 151 miles per charging. We know that it way from magical 200-mile range that Chevrolet Volt has, but the manufacturer promises a surprise for the next year model which could get 60 kW battery and much higher number of miles driven per charging. However, that is not the only advantage of this battery. It is also possible to be charged 40 minutes for 80% of battery.
2019 Nissan Leaf Price
The price of 2019 Nissan Leaf is not known yet, but it is for sure that it will cost much lower than other models from the same range, like mentioned Chevrolet Volt, then Hyundai Ionic, Honda Clarity and Tesla 3. All of these models are fully electrical and have almost the same features as Leaf, for the much higher price, which could be the main advantage of the Leaf on the market.
