2019 Honda Civic comes to the market almost unchanged, although the last large redesigning happened in 2016 and after that has not been changed anything particular. The main change in this model happened under the hood, where is expected to be added an electrical engine, so the model could be a hybrid.
2019 Honda Civic could remain the same shape and design as a current model, besides few improvements in the design of lights and bumpers. However, that is not what we expected, but the manufacturer is obviously satisfied with the current look of the car. So, expect the same wide air intake on the bottom of the front bumper, thin grille and incorporated lights on the sides. The rear end could be simple, with a spoiler on the top of the truck door.
Even though the manufacturer has not said anything about changing in the design of the cabin of 2019 Honda Civic, we expect that they will change slow touchscreen which is in some cases literally unresponsive and heavy for use. As drivers of current model said, there is an annoying menu, very slow buttons and there are no volume buttons at all, which could be hard for using. However, as the current model has greatly designed cabin, with dark grey leathered seats and dashboard, modernly designed steering wheel and a lot of space for the passengers, there is actually not much need to be changed.
There are no changes under the hood of 2019 Honda Civic, as the manufacturer has chosen to remain the same engine’s options as on the previous model. That means that base model has 2.0-liter with 158 horsepower and in case that you are not satisfied with that, you should choose one of two optional 1.5-liter turbo engine unit with 174 and 180 horsepower; a 1.5-liter engine with 205 horsepower in Si version or 2.0-liter engine with 306 horsepower in Type R version. There are rumors that Civic could have a hybrid unit, too, which could be a combination of the 2.0-liter petrol engine with an electric motor for 170 horsepower to be produced together. A good news is that new Civic also remains all good features when is safety is about, thanks to great equipment in that field.
2019 Honda Civic
There is a long list of competitors of 2019 Honda Civic with Kia Forte, Volkswagen Jetta, Mazda 3, Nissan Sentra, and Toyota Corolla among them. However, the price of $20,000 for the base model and $34,000 as the highest price as well as great design and engine options should be attractive and competitive enough. Releasing date is expected in fall this year.
