2019 Honda Accord is only a continuation of the fully redesigned model last year, so without significant differences and new details because of that. However, it is interesting to see how the manufacturer remains the same attractive details and engines in the new model.
We did not expect significant changes in design of 2019 Honda Accord as the last model was completely redesigned and we were right. Since the last model was extended and got fully redesigned front grille, now it was not changed, so there is a chromatic line across the front end with a recognizable logo and wide air intake below them, so both create a trapezoid. Thin LED front lights are incorporated in hood line. The rear end is short and has two modern rear lights, while the roof drops from the middle and ends in a truck door. The shape and design of the car recall on new Honda Civic, which was also redesigned soon.
The cabin in 2019 Honda Accord is still wide and large, enlarged for the last model and as attractive as in the last model, too. However, for those who are considering of buying a hybrid model could be disappointing the information that those models have slightly smaller cabin due to the occupation of the extra truck space for the electric engine. The truck in other versions should have 16.7 cubes of space and the whole cabin now has 40.4 inches. The cabin is nicely designed, with dark grey upholstery and chromatic lines on the dashboard, where are a large center cluster and touchscreen on the top of it. In terms of technology, there are things that were interesting and attractive in the last model, too.
Future buyers of 2019 Honda Accord could be disappointed with the disallowance of the V6 engine that traditionally was in last models. However, there are great replacements for that engine. Base models got 1.5-liter four-in-line petrol unit with 195 horsepower, while the higher trim gets 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. There is a hybrid version with 2.0-liter petrol engine paired with an electric unit for 212 horsepower that produces together. This hybrid engine has CVT automatic transmission, as well as the standard model, while the stronger engine is paired with the 10-speed automatic transmission.
2019 Honda Accord
2019 Honda Accord should be on the market by the half of the year. There is not expected much change in price from the last model, so we expect price range from $24,000 to $36,000. Among the strongest competitors are models like Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata, and Nissan Altima.
