The Pilot is Honda’s largest crossover in the United States and it is relatively unique in the U.S. market because in most versions it is also an eight passenger vehicle. The 2018 Honda Pilot has been completely redesigned for 2018 model year ad we should expect to see more of this same design cues to the Honda Odyssey which is their minivan for next year. Up front we can see Honda’s new design language which looks less trucky this year that it has in the past, also it’s a little bit less boxy and it is more mainstream. The headlamps are equipped with halogen and LED lights on the front as well on the back. On the center of the newly designed grille you can find a big Honda logo and behind it is a radar sensor which helps with the adaptive cruise control, collision warning and collision mitigating braking functionality. The dashboard design is very similar to the latest generation Civic and Accord with soft touch molding and metallic black trim coupled with hard plastic which is looking very good. The new Honda Pilot for 2018 model year have under the hood a very efficient 5-Liter SOHC 24-valve V-6 engine while the block and heads are made from aluminium and it have direct fuel injection. The 212 cu in(3471 cc) engine is capable to produce 280 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 262 pound feet of torque at 4700 rpm. This engine powers the front wheels or (optional) all four wheels with a help of a 6-speed automatic gearbox. EPA fuel estimates are 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. From 0 to 06 it speeds up in 6.1 seconds and the top speed is 114 miles per hour.
