As the opposite of the competitors – Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, 2018 Dodge Challenger has the main feature which separate this model from them – retro approach in the modern chassis. Even the last model from 2015 has refreshed, the manufacturer decided to make one more redesign in this model.
Due to providing recognizable retro look imitating the look from 1971, the Dodge Challenger has split grille in a slim front with projector headlamps surrounded with LED lights. With new dashboard and soft-touch surfaces, the new 2018 Dodge Challenger will push the envelope expectations for all other future cars. There will also be an upgraded instrument cluster with a 7 inch TFT display screen and with optional 8.4-inch center touchscreen. But, even there will be a space for five passengers, some knowers claim that there can sit only three fat persons, so be prepared for a little tight space.
On standard model is built-in a 3.6-liter V6 powertrain with 305 horsepower, but the higher version will have a stronger 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. They will not stop there. It will have a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque and at the top of available engine, resolutions are supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 707 horsepower of strength and 650 pound-feet of torque. That highest version will also have Brembo disk brakes and with 20-inch aluminum wheels will be the most powerful but also a safe car on the market. The price for 2018 Challenger is starting from $27,000 and obviously goes up with available trim levels which we explained.
