With the new 2017 Subaru Forester, you get all – the new infotainment system, longer wheelbase, and a new engine option. As a small crossover SUV, it’s competitive with most of the cars in the same category and with some features, like plenty of cargo space, new turbocharged engine and inside design it’s even a winner among them.

As we already mentioned a longer wheelbase can become even longer in some trim levels and there will be six in the offer. All depends on the engine which you choose in your 2017 Subaru Forester. Standard model includes 17-inch wheels and roof rails which could be extended with rear privacy glass, a panoramic roof and automatic headlights, fog lights and a rear roof spoiler. Higher version shows off with 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, keyless ignition and entry a sport-tuned suspension, the All-Weather package, and a rear roof spoiler. Even it’s a small crossover, it can be compared with Jeep Cherokee and Honda CR-V or even Toyota RAV4 which means that it’s not behind the all those cars from the same class.

As with the all other descriptions, describing the inside of the 2017 Subaru Forester is a real art with all those technology features. Some of them are available in basic model, like full power accessories, cruise control, a height-adjustable driver seat, 60/40-split folding rear seatbacks, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a rearview camera, a 6.2-inch touchscreen with Subaru’s Starlink technology interface, but the new car needs the features like a smartphone app integration and a four-speaker sound system with HD radio, a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB port which is fulfilled with a panoramic sunroof, and if you ask for comfort and enjoyment (or better to say relaxing) there are an eight-way power driver seat (with two-way power lumbar), a rear armrest with cup holders, reclining rear seatbacks.

There is a more than one engine option in the 2017 Subaru Forester which changes the trim versions. The standard model has 2.5- liter four-cylinder engine for 170 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. All engines are equipped with six-speed manual transmission and CVT transmission is optional. Fuel economy is 27 mpg, the speed of 60 reaches for 9 seconds. Standard safety package includes antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag and a rearview camera.
