The styling on the 2017 Mazda 6 was never been really a problem it was always certainly one of the best looking vehicles in the class but Mazda has managed to make it even better looking for this year. It now have a sharper looking headlights with a smoked out look and then it also have new LED rings around the projectors and LED daytime running lights too. At the back it is very sleek styling with LED taillights and dual chrome exhausts. Overall it have very bold and aggressive design.
The build quality and materials are unmatched like it always was in the 2017 Mazda 6. the steering wheel design is fairly stylish and sporty looking with all the necessary knobs and leather finish. Of course ti has dual zone climate controlled with expensive looking knobs. The seats inside the 6 are very sporty with good side bolstering and tie supports while they are also quite comfortable which is good for long rides. The infotainment system is brand new and it’s basically like a knock-off MMI interface by Audi which is much better than the old one.
Now under the hood of the Mazda 6 you can find a 2.5-Liter DOHC 16-valve Atkinson inline four-cylinder engine. Now this 152 cu in (2488 cc) engine is able to produce 184 horses at 5.700 rpm and 185 pound feet of torque at 3.250 rpm. This front mounted engine is mated with a 6-speed manual as standard or optional six-speed automatic gearbox. EPA fuel efficiency numbers are 28 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the hwy. This 3.150 lb vehicle is able to accelerate from 0-60 in 7.0 seconds. The top speed of this five-passenger, four-door sedan is 130 mph.

The price of the new Mazda 6 for 2017 model year is starting at $22,330 while with added features it can go up to $31,030. It is ranked second in the sedan segment. Biggest competitors are: Honda Accord, Kia Optima, Chevrolet Malibu, Ford Fusion, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Sonata and Toyota Camry.
